Mentoring

During the height of our boating season, we successfully recruit many new members into our flotillas.

Mentoring helps incorporate the diversity of our new members to get them trained and involved in Auxiliary activities as quickly as possible.  Mentoring can also be helpful in re-activating and retaining some of our established members.

This PowerPoint presentation (260KB) on Mentoring in the US Coast Guard Auxiliary uses facets of the US Coast Guard Mentoring Program, as well as the successful mentoring program used by District 7.  Every flotilla can benefit from a mentoring program.
